We purchased Breads of Europe in October 2015 and not only is it now family owned and operated, it's the first time it has been owned by a baker since its establishment in 2007.
We are Brian Cook and Lydia Schroder and we have two young boys, Rocco and Jett, and a delightfully stupid Golden Retriever, Cruise.
As well as working in some of Christchurch's popular bakeries and restaurants, including Sydenham Bakery, Indochine and ChinWag, we also opened Una Bakery in Huntsbury in 2010. This was a great success and much enjoyed by the local clientele as well as the passing public. We chose to sell Una Bakery in August 2016 to focus our energy in Breads of Europe.
As a husband and wife partnership, we combine the experience of a skilled, passionate baker with a professional hospitality manager to create a unique and driven team who are focussed on bringing you the best product and service to enhance your business.
We enjoy spending time with current and prospective customers to showcase products, develop menus or just have a catch up to see how things are going. We share your focus of making sure YOUR customers are happy and it is a pleasure to do so.
